I don't know if I can really describe what an indie band is, so I'll give you some examples:
The shins
The Postal Service
Modest Mouse
The Flaming Lips (kinda)
Steve Burns
Beulah
Mogwai
etc
and if you've never heard of any of them, remember both google and whichever file sharing program you happen to use are your friend
Ha...the problems with file sharing programs...I don't use any because my internet is evil...And I've only heard of Modest Mouse from that list...O.o... I'm not following English music too well anymore....
But roar...Oh well...I still listen to indies...I'm just not sure which band is indies and which isn't...But I've never been good at classifying musics...
